Thank you for visiting my website! This fall through Spring I am offering guided fishing trips on the very best rivers on Vancouver Island. Famous rivers like the Cowichan River, Stamp River and Gold River and lesser known rivers like the Salmon, Nimpkish, Nitnat, San Juan, and others. The fish I am targeting are Salmon in the fall, Steelhead in the Winter and Spring, then Brown and Rainbow Trout in the Spring. The great thing about Vancouver Island river fishing is that our rivers can be fished every month of the year with great success. I provide a professional fishing experience where you will learn about the rivers and the species that you will be fishing as well as the fishing techniques and the lures of choice.
Please take a look at my 2012-2013 schedule and pick some days and rivers that look adventurous to you and book them soon! If you book now the cost of a day charter is $400 for up to 2 anglers or I have an All-Inclusive (including air-fare from Calgary/Edmonton) 3 day charter. I would suggest booking more than one day, especially during the peak times. Last year was very busy and this season is already shaping up to be much busier.
A guided day of fishing starts at daylight where we pick you up from your accommodation and we travel to the river where the boat is ready and waiting. We get geared up and we head down to the river in either our power drifter or our drift boat. All the fly rods, fly’s, gear rods and tackle can be provided and hot beverages (tea, hot chocolate or coffee) will be prepared on the river to help keep you comfortable. Our guides provide you with any instruction you need to improve your fishing technique and they take you to all the best spots on the river. After 7-8 hours of fishing we dress your catch and take you back to your accommodation.

Stamp River, Fall Salmon/Summer Steelhead River Fishing: (Fly or gear)
Chinook/Coho – August 25th to Nov. 15th.
Summer Steelhead - August 1st to September 30th.
Stamp River Early Winter Steelheading:
Winter Steelhead – October 15th to April 15th.
Lower Cowichan River Mid Winter Steelheading:
Winter Steelhead – Dec.15th to April 1st. (Great river to fly fish)
Nimpkish River Mid Winter Steelheading:
Winter Steelhead – November 15th to January 15th.
Gold River/Salmon River Late Winter Steelheading:
Winter Steelhead – February 15th to March 31st
Upper Cowichan River Early Spring Steelheading:
Winter Steelhead – March 15th to April 15th (fly fishing)
Upper Cowichan River Spring Trout Fly Fishing:
Rainbow Trout and Brown Trout – April 15th to May 31st.
