The last couple of weeks the fishing has been pretty consistent. The water levels have been fluctuating quite a bit, but they seem to be stabilizing right now.  The Cowichan river is one of the nicest rivers on Vancouver Island to drift with a boat and I have been spending a lot of time doing just that.  Almost everyday for the last few weeks we have been fishing, getting ready for our guiding season for Steelhead which is now in full swing.  If you haven’t booked a guided fishing trip on the Cowichan river, now is the time.
