Port Alberni Inlet Sockeye Salmon – Fishing Report, Jun 17, 2010

| June 17, 2010

The three of us were on the water this morning by 5:15am and we were back at the marina by 8am with our limits.  In fact, when we arrived at Nahmint, there were a few boats pulling up their gear and heading home with their limits at 5:45am! We fished mainly Nahmint, but I don’t think that you have to go that far down the inlet to get your limits. There were a lot of boats at China and Cous Creek.

Tight lines,
Ian B.

Are you having to use a lot of dummy flashers? We're heading up there on July 1st and your reports are killing me! -

  2. Steelhead says:

Get as many rods/flashers in the water as you can, that will give the fish something to look at!
