July 1st, Happy Canada Day! 

Here is whats happening around the island:

Port Alberni - Canada Day Parade starts at 10am along 10th Avenue with festivities to follow.

Naniamo – Maffeo-Sutton Park
July 1st:
8:00am  Pancake Breakfast
11am Parade of Flags
11-4pm Entertainment and food

Victoria – Victoria Harbour
Dawn to Dusk, lots of things to do.
50,000 people will be downtown celebrating Canada Day.
10:20pm Fireworks.

Parksville: Downtown
10am Parade
12-10pm bands and activities in the park
DUSK – Fireworks!

Comox Valley – Lewis Park
Parade starts at 10:30am
Festivities in Lewis Park all day.
This is always well attended!

Campbell River – Downtown
Huge Canada Day Festivities!
Probably the 2nd largest celebration on the Island
Parade downtown
Bands
Lots for the kids to do.
Fireworks – 10:22pm

Enjoy the day with your family and friends and go out to one of these celebrations and have a great time!

As for fishing, I will be back on the water Friday!
